[edit] Vandalism here

Just to let you know that this isn't Wikipedia. Feel free to block vandals right away, as I'm doing already (Filnik is far too gentle for me ;-)). Don't assume good faith if it's evident that it's made in bad faith or maybe even by some kind of automated or semiautomated bot. Snowolf how can I help? 19:09, 8 September 2007 (MDT)

[edit] Cleaning Up

Hi all, I've decided to focus on this wiki for a bit, so I've started by trashing unused test pages and so on. If I deleted something that I shouldn't, revert me right away if you're an admin, otherwise post here and the first admin that comes around will take care of it. [edit] New Home & Welcome template

I really got tired of the old homepage. You should know that I was developing another one in my user space but unfortunately I didn't get much help. So I decided even if it was far from ready, it would go up anyway. We haven't problems of "image". Who cares. But mainly 'cause I hope that in this way maybe somebody else will work on it.

Also, I've taken the new Template:Welcome 2.0 template from Fabexplosive, changed the text to fit our project and merged with the old Template:Benvenuto to make the new Template:welcome which must be substituted.

I would really appreciate feedback on the matter.

[edit] Timezone

I'm trying to set the default timezone to GMT (from USA/Mountain) let's see it is working :) Snowolf how can I help? 10:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

It does :) Snowolf how can I help? 10:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mess with the importing

Hi all,

I've very sorry for the mess with the bot sources imports, which resulted in that ridicoulous log. XD. Anyway, I hope this last time I don't make any mistate ;-) Snowolf how can I help? 23:38, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Favicon too large

Image:Favicon too large.png
Looks like this in FF2.0/WinXP

The favicon is too large; it should be 16x16 pixel. Browsers resize it so you don't notice the difference in the location bar, but the Firefox 2 searchbar autodetection does not. --Tgr 15:07, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

I can confirm the problem. I didn't thought it was an issue, but I can assure you it will be resolved quickly. Snowolf how can I help? 15:47, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Quite busy off wiki, issue should be resolved now. Snowolf how can I help? 22:34, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] tools iw

Could we have "tswiki:" and "tools:" link to http://wiki.ts.wikimedia.org and http://tools.wikimedia.de respectively, as on meta. Cheers, John Vandenberg (chat) 03:43, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Should be done → Special:Log/interwiki Snowolf how can I help? 12:36, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spambots

Hello, you have a spambot problem. Please consider adding Abusefilter to combat these.

As well, I cannot help if I keep hitting captchas when trying to tag pages for deletion. Please set MediaWiki:captcha-addurl-whitelist correctly and/or grant me more tools. Thanks. Mike.lifeguard | @meta 13:01, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

The captcha settings have been elevated to a higher setting, setting is mandatory for all non-registered edits as well as for creating and account, and removing the need for said captcha for registered users. Hope it fixes, gave you sysop in case you need it in the future anyway Snowolf how can I help? 14:03, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
I've added this wiki's domain to the captcha whitelist. If someone is adding an external link to this wiki, does that really count as external? furthermore, it is impeding legitimate work while not doing anything to slow or stop spam(mers|bots)
Thanks for the extra tools as well. Mike.lifeguard | @meta 14:28, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Links no longer should be triggering captcha anyway, it's only active for unregistered users, for whose it is now always active for each edit, no matter links :) Snowolf how can I help? 16:30, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
