Purple exclamation mark.svg Planning the future of Botwiki! - Help us bring Botwiki up to date, contribute to our strategy discussion, add bot scripts, and contribute manuals, guides, and tutorials! Almost anything related to bots, particularly those used to edit mediawiki, is welcome.

Red exclamation mark.svg UNABLE TO EDIT? - We've experienced attacks by spambots lately and now require you to confirm your e-mail before you can edit (go to your preferences, enter an e-mail address, and request a confirmation e-mail, then go to your e-mail and click on the confirmation link). We also require new accounts to make a few edits and wait a few minutes before before you can create a page; however, if this is a problem contact us in #botwiki and we can manually confirm your account. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Beware of Doug

I am Doug here as well as on all Wikimedia Foundation projects, Wikilivres (a non-WMF multilingual auxiliary site to wikisource, taking advantage of Canada's more liberal copyright laws), Pipedia, and my private mediawiki wiki. I am also Doug on PythonInfo Wiki, a w:MoinMoin wiki.

I am a Steward, Bureaucrat, and Sysop on here. A grapheocrates (bureaucrat) and măgistrātus (administrator) on the latin wikisource, an administrator on the english wikisource and the english wikipedia, and a transwiki importer on the multilingual wikisource. I am also an administrator on wikilivres and I am the system administrator and manager (≈ WMF Steward) of a private/test wiki. I run DougBot on all of the above except the english wikipedia and I run InterwikiBot on all wikisources, though the latter has been largely supplanted by Candalua's better and more general purpose CandalBot.

Both DougBot and InterwikiBot are built on the pywikipediabot framework.
