Very strange. I'll check, but there shouldn't be a problem with the talk pages.

As for the home page, it's intended :) The thing is that when you go to the main page, you are redirected by polyglot to Main Page/en and then back to the Main Page.

To check what the problem is, I'm creating a new user without any permissions, to see where the bugs are.

I see the problem, it's with the protected section extension. Since we aren't currently using too much, I'll just disable it. SnoTest 03:22, 10 September 2007 (MDT)

Issue fixed. I was with the protected section extension, and it was triggered by the semiprotection on the home page and my user page. This is why I had no problem with my test user in posting on your talk page. I've just disabled that extension and it resumed working. I'm really sorry for the whole issue. Anyway, in case of any more problems, feel free to post 'em either to my talk page or Administrator's noticeboard. I don't think that the redirection is an issue, I can remove it, but if it doesn't create problems, I would like to leave it as it is now. Filnik, I've got this bad feeling indeed. We have no plan, and I have no chance to discuss with people here. In #Pywikipediabot channel on freenode, many people don't even know this wiki! You don't appear there, I guess. This doesn't work well, I think. We need to discuss things, and have a plan. Huji 16:40, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Uhm, strange. I am usually connected on pywikipediabot and botolatori so it's strange that you can't find me (maybe we connect in different hours). Btw, we can use this page or something else to discuss of problems :-) for problems with namespace, ask snowolf, he should know the use of any namespace :D Bye, --Filnik 09:45, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for my "not so present" presence. I'll try to sum up the namespace thing:

• Mainspace - For the main page & tests
• Botwiki - Internal pages about this wiki itself
• Image - Images and downloads, both test and internal/documenting use
• MediaWiki - Internal pages modified by sysops
• Template - Both internal template and tests
• Help - Not very useful: it should be a documentation of the wiki itself, but since this wiki is aimed mainly at already experienced users, it's not that useful. I don't have any idea of how to fill it, but it created by the standard mediawiki.
• Category - Like wikipedia, both for tests (mainly, I would say) and internal use.
• Manual - I did created it as tutorials were put in the Botwiki: (Pywikipedia: at the time) namespace, which should have been only for internal use, like the Wikipedia: one in enwiki.
• Python/Php/Perl/AWB/IRC - For dividing the bots by their language (well, IRC and AWB aren't languages, but I don't care), as one day (I hope), we will have many scripts (one of this days I will definitively put here a real collection of bots).
• Other - For bots that don't fit in one of the previous categories.
